Community Guidelines

1. Purpose

Vidme Play is built for creators, viewers, and communities to share videos safely and respectfully. These guidelines explain what is allowed, what is restricted, and what may be removed.

2. Keep Content Safe

Do not upload or promote:

  • adult sexual content or explicit nudity
  • child sexual exploitation or any content involving minors in unsafe or sexualized contexts
  • graphic violence intended to shock, glorify, or encourage harm
  • illegal activity, criminal instructions, or dangerous wrongdoing
  • hate, terrorism support, or violent extremism

3. Respect Other People

Do not use Vidme Play to:

  • harass, threaten, or bully others
  • target people based on protected characteristics
  • impersonate another person, brand, or organization
  • expose private personal information without permission

4. Keep It Authentic

Do not:

  • upload spam or repetitive low-value content
  • use misleading titles, tags, thumbnails, or metadata
  • artificially inflate views, followers, likes, or watch time
  • re-upload duplicate content to manipulate distribution or monetization

5. Copyright and Ownership

  • Only upload content you own or are allowed to publish.
  • Do not upload pirated movies, TV episodes, music, clips, or creator content without authorization.
  • We may remove content or restrict accounts when infringement risks are detected.

6. Restricted Content

Some content may be limited, age-restricted, held for review, demonetized, or made less visible even if it is not fully removed.

This may include content involving:

  • mature themes
  • risky challenges
  • harmful misinformation
  • sensitive violence or disturbing footage
  • repeated borderline copyright or policy issues

7. Creator Conduct

Creators are expected to:

  • keep channel information accurate
  • respect viewers and other creators
  • follow monetization and payout rules honestly
  • respond to moderation decisions in good faith

8. Enforcement

Vidme Play may use automatic systems and manual review to enforce these guidelines.

Actions can include:

  • warning
  • review hold
  • rejection before publishing
  • removal
  • visibility restriction
  • monetization limitation
  • channel suspension or account termination

9. Repeated Violations

Repeated violations, evasion, or abuse can lead to stronger enforcement, including permanent loss of platform access or monetization.

10. Updates

These guidelines may be updated as the platform, creator ecosystem, legal environment, and safety requirements evolve.
